# Terms of Service — Warden CI

**Warden CI is a product of Focus Switch.**

## 1. What Warden CI does

Warden CI is a GitHub App that scans pull requests for patterns associated with
AI-generated, unverifiable, or tampered code, and flags dependencies that show
signs of being newly published or low-adoption. It posts its findings as a
GitHub Check on the pull request. It does not block merges by default.

## 2. Accounts and plans

- **Free plan**: scanning of public repositories, unlimited.
- **Pro plan**: $19/month per GitHub account or organization, flat rate,
  unlocks scanning of private repositories. Includes a 14-day free trial.
  Billed via Gumroad, our Merchant of Record. Cancel any time; access continues until the end of the
  current billing period.
- **Team plan**: $49/month, for engineering teams protecting multiple repositories.
  Includes everything in Pro plus unlimited team members, team-wide repository
  protection, and priority support. Billed via Gumroad. Cancel any time; access
  continues until the end of the current billing period.
- **Enterprise plan**: $149/month, for organizations that need security at
  scale. Includes everything in Team plus organization-wide protection,
  advanced controls, and custom security requirements. Billed via Gumroad.

## 3. What we access and store

To function, Warden CI's GitHub App requires read access to your repository
contents and pull request metadata, and write access to Checks. See our
[Privacy Policy](/privacy) for what we do and don't store from that access.

## 4. No warranty on detection accuracy

Warden CI's scoring is heuristic- and model-based and **will** produce false
positives and false negatives. It is a decision-support tool, not a guarantee
of code safety, security, or provenance. You are responsible for your own
code review process; Warden CI supplements it and does not replace it.

## 5. Acceptable use

You may not use Warden CI to scan code you don't have the right to scan, or in
a way that violates GitHub's own Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policies.

## 6. Limitation of liability

Warden CI is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Warden CI is not liable for any damages arising from use of, or inability
to use, the service, including but not limited to reliance on scan results.

## 7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be
communicated via email.

## 8. Refund policy

See our full [Refund Policy](/refund). In summary: refunds are handled by
Gumroad, our Merchant of Record, in accordance with
[Gumroad's Buyer Terms](https://gumroad.com/terms). If
you're not satisfied within the first 14 days of a paid plan, contact us at
the email below and we'll issue a full refund via Gumroad, no questions asked.
After 14 days, refunds for partial billing periods are considered on a
case-by-case basis — cancelling a subscription stops future billing but does
not itself refund the current period.
